Ingo Maurer for Buschfeld

You can plan a lot. Some times coincidence often brings the unexpected new direction. So also as Buschfeld and the manufacturer Ingo Maurer meet in the Design Post at imm Cologne back in 2019, exchange  and openly spin ideas. It is one of those special encounters that are just right. Where sympathy and synergy can be found equally. Detached from potential hurdles, the vision for an extraordinary cooperation quickly emerges.

The first result and experimental "proof of concept" is the chandelier "Flames is all I see" based on the buschfeld light track designed exclusively for the entrance hall of the Design Post Cologne. Michael Lechner from Team Ingo Maurer about the idea:

A chandelier has always been technically, creatively and craftsmanship-wise challenging. We want to show with a bang what is possible.

January 2020: Adapted to its surroundings at the Design Post, the chandelier, which consists offive light track levels, comes completely in black. Both light tracks and the light candles developed by Moritz Waldemeyer for Ingo Maurer feature the same dark tone. Thusthe chandelier appears to float, only the lights come to light. Another special feature isthe design concept based on balance. "Flames is all I see" is constructed like a Mobilé, a decisive difference to the classic chandelier shape, which is built on a circle.

Giving you technical data, pictures und  inspirations we are working on a standard now.
But of course as you may know from Ingo Maurer and Buschfeld as well, we are always thinking about tailor-made options for you.
